Mr. Fornaris is the founding shareholder of Mark L. Fornaris, P.A. and is the Head of the Immigration Practice. Mr. Fornaris handles all matters relating to immigration/nationality law and corporate law. Mr. Fornaris has years of experience working for the most recognized immigration law firms in Miami and for Barclays Capital in New York before starting his own practice. Mr. Fornaris is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.

Mr. Fornaris has clerked at the Federal Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit at the Chief Mediator's Office and worked at the New York offices of Barclays Capital, the English investment and corporate bank, where Mr. Fornaris oversaw the immigration and regulatory compliance matters for the largest banking institution in the United Kingdom and a leading global investment bank. Prior to starting his own practice, Mr. Fornaris has also worked at the law offices of Rifkin & Fox-Isicoff, P.A. and Eduardo Soto, P.A. in Miami.

Mr. Fornaris obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida International University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.

In 2009, Mr. Fornaris has been elected as a "Rising Star" and a SuperLawyer by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of immigration, an honor bestowed on less than 2% of all attorneys in Florida. Mr. Fornaris is a member of the Florida Bar and is an active member of the FIU and Cardozo Alumni Associations.
